Mundipagg
Building a unified design system for Brazil’s top payment gateway.
Mundipagg was a Brazilian payment gateway later acquired by Stone Co., one of Latin America’s largest fintech groups.
During my three years there, I worked on the client platform interface, internal brand assets, and later led the development of its new identity system — a complete rebranding that aligned Mundipagg’s design language with Stone Co.’s ecosystem.

Context
At the time, fintech in Brazil was growing fast, and competition among payment solutions was fierce. Mundipagg needed a strong and cohesive visual identity to stand out while staying connected to Stone Co.’s expanding brand family.
This transition required balancing two goals: keeping the trust built with existing e-commerce clients, and evolving toward a design system that reflected Stone’s technological and human-centric approach.

Role & Challenge
I was responsible for leading the creation of the new brand identity, developing a complete visual system — from concept and tone of voice to UI components and print applications.
While the main logo had been previously created by another designer, I built everything around it: the brandbook, iconography, web interface, and internal materials.
A key part of this process was creating a secondary identity aimed at the tech community — a crucial audience both inside and outside the company. This version spoke their language through visual codes, humor, and cultural references, helping strengthen the connection between design and engineering teams.
The result was a cohesive and recognizable identity that positioned Mundipagg as one of Stone Co.’s most solid brands and prepared it for full integration into the group’s visual ecosystem.

Technical Implementation
The project combined traditional design tools with early front-end collaboration. I used Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create the platform’s interface and marketing assets, while also working closely with developers to translate layouts into responsive components using Bootstrap and Material Design principles.
All iconography was built in Illustrator and implemented as SVG within the internal component library, ensuring scalability and consistency across the platform.
After Mundipagg’s integration into Stone Co., my work shifted toward visual and motion design, editing videos and producing light motion graphics to expand the brand’s communication materials. As part of Stone’s internal creative team, I collaborated on cross-company initiatives that connected branding, product design, and marketing into a unified design system.
Outcome
The new identity brought consistency between Mundipagg and other Stone Co. brands, reinforcing its credibility as one of Brazil’s leading payment solutions. The updated interface and cohesive design system helped position the company for its next stage of growth before it was fully integrated into Stone.
