Deviae
Transforming fashion photography with advanced AI technology and professional studio quality.
The project began with a simple yet pressing need: to show products on people rather than as static mockups or 3D renders.
Many small online stores lack the resources to hire professional models, which often leaves their products feeling distant from reality.

Concept & Naming
With the rise of AI-generated imagery, creating realistic human representations has become easier - though far from effortless. Each image still requires dozens of iterations and careful Photoshop refinements to strike the right balance between realism and faithful product depiction.
From this challenge, Deviae was born: a name derived from the Portuguese word “devaneios” (“reveries”). The concept embodies imagination turned tangible: daydreams becoming faces, personalities, and styles.

Visual Direction
Deviae introduces nine unique personas, each with distinct aesthetics designed to adapt to different business identities. Their names subtly reference the order of their creation: Catarina Una (No. 1), Andra (“androgynous” and "the second one" in Swedish), Toji Suri (“Suri” echoing the Japanese pronunciation of three), Zoe Forte (from "fourth"), Marun (“five” in Yoruba), Liz Vener (from venerdì — Italian for “Friday,” the sixth day), Seth Redmond (from the sound of seven in latin languages), Otto Vale (otto, “eight” in Italian), and Nina King (nina, echoing “ninth”).
The visual identity was inspired by the timeless elegance of fashion magazines such as Vogue, blending editorial sophistication with digital experimentation.

Technical Implementation
The website is currently under development using a modern no-code/low-code platform that allows for advanced layout control, smooth animations, and fast iteration. The goal is to combine editorial design precision with the flexibility of a digital-first workflow, ensuring every element, from typography to motion, reflects the brand's aesthetic and experimental spirit.
Project Outcomes
This project is still in progress. Once completed, the website will serve as both a visual portfolio and a practical showcase of Deviae's core concept, merging artificial intelligence, fashion, and storytelling into one cohesive experience. The platform will allow users to explore the virtual models, understand the creative process, and get in touch for collaborations or custom projects.
